Job Profile:

  • Trade Finance Document Scrutiny: Scrutiny of all trade finance-related documents (Letters of Credit, Collections, Bank Guarantees etc.) for compliance with Bank/RBI/ICC/FEDAI and other regulatory guidelines. Supporting and guiding junior staff at CPC, front office at branches, and customers.
  • Processing of Trade Finance and Forex Transactions: Centralized processing of Trade Finance and Forex transactions on behalf of all branches. Ensuring accurate processing within benchmarked Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Reconciliation: Reconciliation of Trade Finance and Forex-related entries in Bank’s Trade Finance, Forex and CBS systems and IDPMS/EDPMS.
  • Any other tasks related to Bank’s Trade Finance and International Business back-office operations.

The selection for SBI Trade Finance Officer 2026 will be based on Shortlisting followed by Interview:

  • Shortlisting: The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the parameters. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience does not vest any right in the candidate to be called for interview. The Bank’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • Interview: Interview carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. Call letters will be sent by email only — no hard copy will be dispatched.
  • Merit List: Final merit list will be prepared in descending order of interview scores only. In case of a tie at the cut-off, candidates will be ranked in descending order of age.
  • Travel Reimbursement: Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed economy class airfare for the shortest route (actual cost or maximum ₹10,000/- to-and-fro, whichever is lower), on submission of original flight tickets/invoice and boarding pass.
