NTPC Assistant Law Officer Recruitment 2026 – Overview
NTPC has released notification for 06 Assistant Law Officer (E0 Level) posts for its projects and stations.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with minimum 60% marks and must have appeared for CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme.
The salary range is ₹30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA Pattern) depending on the E0 level pay scale.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent – full time) with minimum 60% marks; 55% for SC/PwBD candidates.
- Must have appeared for CLAT-2026 Post Graduate programme.
- Shortlisting based on CLAT-2026 performance scores.
- Indian Nationals only.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (relaxations: SC 5 yrs, OBC 3 yrs, PwBD 10 yrs, XSM as per norms).
Salary / Stipend
- Pay Scale (IDA Pattern), E0 Level: ₹30,000 – 1,20,000/-.
- Posting at any NTPC Unit/Project/JV/Subsidiary; transferable at management discretion.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on CLAT-2026 scores.
- Multi-stage selection as per NTPC: application screening, written/computer test, personal interview.
