NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), a government company under the Ministry of Steel, has announced walk-in interviews for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices in various trades. This is a golden opportunity for ITI qualified youth seeking hands-on experience in the steel industry. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have the requisite Trade Certificate as per the respective trade.
  • Candidates who have already completed Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 are not eligible.
  • Only Indian citizens are eligible.

Salary / Stipend

  • Stipend will be paid as per DGT Guidelines during apprenticeship.
  • No employment is guaranteed after completion of apprenticeship training.

Selection Process

  • Screen test / Trade test as required for each trade.

  • Selection of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and government quotas.

  • NMDC Steel Limited is a Government company under Ministry of Steel, Government of India, operating a 3.0 MTPA steel plant at Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh.
  • Walk-in drive will be conducted on dates specified for each trade at designated venues.
  • Candidates must register at the apprenticeship portal before attending the walk-in.
  • No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided.
  • Selected candidates will undergo medical fitness tests before joining.
