Note: Age relaxation for PwD and Ex-Servicemen cannot be claimed simultaneously — only one benefit is applicable. PwD benefit is available only for candidates with 40% or more disability. Disability certificate must be issued by the State Medical Board in the prescribed format (Annexure-X). For Post No. 8 (Junior Scientific Assistant, State Drug Testing Laboratory), the maximum age for contractual staff already working there will be determined based on the date of their first contractual appointment.

The examination fee is non-refundable. Fee must be paid through the online portal. Candidates applying under reserved category (SC/ST) at concessional fee who are later found to not be Jharkhand State domicile residents of that category may have their application cancelled. Applications submitted without the applicable fee will be rejected. If applying for both Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 together, only one fee payment is required.

The selection for JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 will be done through two stages: Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. The exam will be conducted in OMR / Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Note: If the number of applicants is less than 50,000, the Preliminary Exam may be skipped and candidates directly called for the Main Exam. If Preliminary Exam is held, candidates will be shortlisted at 15 times the number of vacancies for each category for the Main Exam. If scores are tied at the cut-off, all candidates with the same score will be included in the list. Marks in the Preliminary Exam will NOT be counted in the final merit — only Main Exam marks will determine the final selection. If the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, marks will be normalized using the prescribed formula available on the JSSC website.

Stage 2 – Main Examination: The Main Exam will consist of objective type MCQ questions related to the concerned post’s professional/technical subject knowledge. Complete syllabus and exam pattern for Main Exam will be notified separately on the official JSSC website.

Sports Quota: Reservation under Sports Quota for direct recruitment to Group B posts is available for candidates who have represented at national/international level competitions or state-level championships, as per Government of Jharkhand resolution No. 1709 dated 12.09.2007. How to Apply for JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 – Step by Step Online Application Guide

  1. Visit the official JSSC website at jssc.jharkhand.gov.in
  2. Click on “Online Application for JTGLCCE-2026” link on the homepage
  3. Complete the Registration process — your Registration Number and Password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID
  4. Note down the Registration Number and Password carefully for future login
  5. Log in again using the credentials and fill in detailed personal, educational, and category information carefully
  6. Upload scanned copies of all required documents
  7. Click “Save and Continue” on each page before proceeding to the next
  8. Pay the examination fee — click “Submit to Proceed Payment”, select JTGLCCE-2026, enter your Registration Number, and complete the payment
  9. After fee payment, upload your scanned Photograph and Signature

Important: If multiple applications are submitted by the same candidate, only the latest one will be considered valid and all previous applications will be cancelled without refund of fee. Candidates must enter their name exactly as it appears in their Matriculation/10th Certificate. Name prefixes like “Shri/Mr./Smt.” must not be used in the application. The correction window (05–10 July 2026) allows changes to all fields except Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 – Facility for Persons with Disability (PwD / Divyang Candidates)

PwD candidates with 40% or more disability under the following categories are eligible for Scribe facility and compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination:

  • Blindness and Low Vision
  • Locomotor Disability (both arms affected) and Cerebral Palsy

Other PwD candidates may also apply for Scribe facility if they produce a certificate from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon regarding physical inability to write, in the prescribed format (Annexure-XI). The request for Scribe must be submitted to the JSSC office at least 15 days before the exam date. The Scribe facility will only be available to those candidates whose Admit Card carries “PH” printed against their category.
