EPFO Deputation Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria – Post Wise Qualification and Experience
I. Deputy Director (Audit) – Eligibility (Employees of EPFO/Central Government/State Government):
- Completed Graduation, preferably B.Com
- Passed the SAS examination conducted by IA & AD or other Central/State Government Organisation, Accounts/Audit Department
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or with 5 years regular service in Level-10 posts; or 7 years regular service in Level-8 posts; or 8 years regular service in Level-6 posts
- Possessing experience in dealing with Audit, Accounts, and financial matters
- Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years
II. Assistant Director (Audit) – Eligibility (Employees of EPFO/Central Government/State Government):
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or with 3 years regular service in Level-7 posts of Accounts Officer/Audit Officer; or 5 years regular service in Level-6 posts of Assistant Accounts Officer/Assistant Audit Officer; or 7 years regular service in Level-6 posts
- Possessing experience in Accounts/Audit of Public Funds

EPFO Deputation Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit and General Terms of Deputation
- The maximum age limit of the applicant should not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- The deputation will be governed as per instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T) from time to time, and the tenure of deputation will initially be for a period of three (3) years, extendable as per DoP&T guidelines.
- The matter of pay and allowances will be governed strictly by the orders of the Central Government for such comparable posts. Preference will be given to officers whose pay and allowances are governed by Central Government rules, including GPF Rules.
- Candidates should be holding the analogous post on substantive basis.
- In case the selected official seeks repatriation before completion of two years on deputation, no transfer TA/DA will be paid on repatriation. If repatriation is sought within one year or less, Transfer TA/DA already paid, if any, is also liable to be recovered.
