Fee can be paid through Online Mode only. For separate subject posts, a separate application and the prescribed fee must be submitted for each post. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Excess payment will also not be refunded, and any deficit in fee must be remitted immediately, failing which the application will be deemed invalid.
Central Sanskrit University 2026 – Method of Selection
- Direct Recruitment Only: All posts listed are to be filled through Direct Recruitment. Candidates must submit their applications online in the prescribed format along with the requisite application fee.
- For Associate Professor (Level-13A): No written examination shall be conducted. Selection shall be made through prescribed shortlisting, Assessment Criteria (Video Presentation, Research Skill & PPT Presentation), and Interview.
- For Assistant Professor and other Level-10 posts: Written test (OMR-based MCQs and Descriptive Test for Research Aptitude and Writing Skills) shall be conducted for shortlisting purposes, followed by Assessment Criteria (Video Presentation & PPT Presentation), Document Verification, and Face-to-Face Interview.
- Exemption from Written Test: If the number of eligible candidates for a subject is less than 20, the University may dispense with the written examination and call eligible candidates directly for Assessment Criteria and Interview.
- NOC Requirement: Candidates currently employed with State/Central Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of document verification/interview, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
- Deputation Option: If suitable candidates are not available for Direct Recruitment, the University may fill posts through deputation (Foreign Service Terms), subject to candidates possessing the prescribed qualifications and a valid NOC and Vigilance Clearance through proper channel.
