Note: The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary as per the actual requirement of the Bank. PwBD vacancy is on a horizontal reservation basis. SBI Resolver Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria for Retired SBI Officers (As on 31.03.2026)
The following eligibility conditions must be satisfied by candidates applying for SBI Resolver Recruitment 2026:
- The candidate must be a retired officer of SBI who held the grade of MMGS-II, MMGS-III, or SMGS-IV with an unblemished service record.
- The retired officer must have a good track record of performance and deep knowledge of Bank’s systems and procedures.
- The officer must have retired from SBI’s service only on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years. Officers who voluntarily retired, resigned, were suspended, or left the Bank before superannuation are NOT eligible. Exception: Officers who completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service/pensionable service (both conditions simultaneously) and applied for voluntary retirement as per SBI e-Circulars CDO/P&HRD-PM/58/2015-16 and CDO/P&HRD-PM/12/2017-18 will be eligible for engagement after attaining age of 60.
- The maximum age as on 31.03.2026 should not exceed 63 years. The engagement shall continue up to the maximum age of 65 years, subject to satisfactory performance and contract renewal.
- The retired officer must maintain good health and must not be suffering from any major ailment.
- The integrity of the officer must be beyond doubt during the previous tenure.
- No punishment/penalty (Censure or higher) should have been inflicted on the officer during the five years of service preceding retirement.
- No CBI or other law enforcement agency case should be pending against the official.
- The retired officers shall not accept any assignment with any other organization during the contractual engagement period.
- The retired officers will not exercise any administrative/financial powers during the engagement period.
SBI Resolver Recruitment 2026 – Monthly Remuneration Details

Important Points about Remuneration: The above monthly compensation is in addition to the pension being received by the retired officer — it does not affect pension in any way. There will be no provision for house/furniture allowance, Provident Fund, Pension Fund, Gratuity, or any other perquisites during the contract period. Income Tax will be deducted at source (TDS) as per prevailing Income Tax rules. The retired officers will not be eligible for re-imbursement of medical expenses or any other benefits during the engagement period; however, they will continue to avail pensioner benefits as applicable.

The primary role of officers engaged as Resolvers at SBI Circle Complaints Resolution Centres (CCRCs) will include:

SBI Resolver Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection for SBI Resolver Engagement 2026 will be based on Shortlisting followed by Interview:
- Shortlisting: The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters. Merely fulfilling minimum eligibility does not guarantee a call for interview. The Bank’s decision in this regard is final.
- Interview: Interview carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. Call letters for interview will be sent by email only — no hard copy will be sent.
- Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared in descending order of interview scores, subject to securing minimum qualifying marks. In case of a tie, candidates will be ranked in descending order of age.
- Merit list will be drawn Circle-wise and Category-wise. Selected candidates will be posted in the preferred Circle they applied for and will not be entitled to inter-circle transfer.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
