About Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and Juvenile Justice Board (JJB)
Child Welfare Committees and Juvenile Justice Boards are statutory bodies constituted under the Juvenile Justice
(Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. These bodies play a critical role in ensuring care, protection,
rehabilitation, and social reintegration of children in need of care and protection as well as children in conflict with law.
