Fee Exemption for Minority Candidates:

For claiming exemption/refund from the application fee, Minority candidates should submit a self-declaration as mentioned in Format ‘A’ at the time of Document Verification. Minorities mean Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis). Such candidates claiming exemption of application fee will be required to furnish a minority community declaration affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper at the time of document verification. If the affidavit is not produced during document verification, the candidature will be rejected.

Economically Backward Classes (EBC):

Economically Backward Classes (EBC) shall mean candidates whose Family Income is less than Rs. 50,000/- per annum. The income certificate for waiver of examination fee for Economically Backward Classes must be issued on letter head as per the prescribed format, and can be issued by the following authorities:

  • District Magistrate or any other revenue officer up to the level of Tehsildar

RCF Kapurthala Sports Quota 2026 – Service Bond, Probation and Other Important Conditions

  • Sportspersons recruited against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement will have to fill and sign a service bond for a period of five years.
  • The sportsperson recruited will undergo a probation period of two years after completion of training, if any.
  • The sportspersons appointed through open advertisement quota shall fulfill the minimum medical norms for the post for which they will be appointed.
  • If the information and documents furnished by sportspersons recruited against sports quota through open advertisement are found incorrect or false at any stage, observing the requisite procedure for such terminations, services shall be terminated.
  • Applicants should mention their playing position along with the game in the application form.
  • Candidates who are already in service of PSUs/Govt. Organizations and are eligible for the above should produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of applying/trials.
  • Candidate’s admission at all stages of the recruitment will be purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of call letters does not imply that the candidature has been finally cleared.
  • Sportspersons having sports norms for a higher level and applying against vacancies for a lower level can be considered. However, they will not claim for a higher level after joining the Railways on the basis of sports achievements prior to joining.
  • The decision of the selection committee/administration in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application, etc., will be final and binding on the candidates, and no inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.
  • Production of original documents of Date of Birth, Educational Qualification, Sports achievements and SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc., on the day of Trial and Interview is mandatory, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Trial/Interview.
