IIT Patna Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment 2025 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria

• M.Tech (VLSI/Embedded/Microelectronics/Electronics/Communication/CS) with valid GATE & minimum 60% / 6.5 CPI OR
• B.Tech/M.Sc (EE/EC/CS/IN) with valid GATE & minimum 70% / 7.5 CPI
• GATE exemption for B.Tech from IITs/CFTIs with 7.5+ CPI
• Preference: Experience in VLSI, Embedded System, Computer Architecture, Machine Learning, EDA tools
• Age Limit: M.Tech candidates – 32 years | B.Tech/M.Sc candidates – 28 years (as on 21-11-2025)

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on application & GATE score
• Written Test + Personal Interview on 22-12-2025 at 10:00 AM
• Venue: Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Patna, Bihta
• Second-class train fare (shortest route) reimbursed
