EdCIL has released notification for recruitment of District Career & Mental Health Counsellors across various districts and mandals of Andhra Pradesh.
This recruitment is open for candidates with postgraduate or undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields.

Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate candidates: M.Sc./M.A. in Psychology, Applied/Clinical/Counselling/Child/Adolescent Psychology, M.Sc./M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work, M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing, MSW (Medical/Psychiatric Social Work or Counselling).
- Undergraduate candidates: B.A./B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology with at least 2-year counselling experience.
- Proficiency in English (written & verbal) is mandatory.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of Telugu, Diploma in Career Guidance & Counselling.
- Freshers awaiting final degree results are eligible.
Salary / Stipend
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹30,000/- per month
- Conveyance Allowance: Up to ₹4,000/- per month on reimbursement basis
- Total Maximum: ₹34,000/- per month
Selection Process
- Selection based on academic/professional qualifications.
- Interview conducted on prescribed date & time by competent authority.
