Vacancy Details
Bank of Baroda invites applications for 01 Financial Literacy Centre Counsellor post on contractual basis for the district jurisdiction of the FLC.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience
- Graduate from recognized University; preference for Post Graduate degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work.
- Should be conversant with local language and have flair for teaching & computer knowledge.
- Desirable: Knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, finance, communication & team-building skills.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking / NBFC / FIs / Business Correspondent / Ex RSETI Director or Faculty (3 years).
Salary / Stipend
- Fixed: Rs. 25,000/- per month
- Conveyance: Up to Rs. 5000/- per month (if 10 or more camps conducted), else Rs. 3000/-
- Halting Allowance: Rs. 300/- (>8 hours) or Rs. 600/- (night stay)
Age Limit
- Maximum 64 years at the time of appointment on contract.

Selection Process
- Selection through interview/panel of LDM, DDM of NABARD, SC/ST representative, and Bank Officers for final recommendation.
- Decision of the committee is final and binding.
General Instructions
- Engagement on contract basis (1 year max); renewal based on performance.
- No right for regular appointment.
- Notice period: Counsellor – 3 months; Bank – 1 month.
- Leaves: Casual – 1 day/month (max 12), Sick – 15 days/year.
- Resident: Preferably from the same State/District.
