APMSRB has released notification for recruitment of Assistant Professors in Clinical, Non-Clinical, and Super Specialty departments across Andhra Pradesh. Selected candidates will receive salary as per 7th UGC Pay Scales, ranging from ₹68,900 – 2,05,500 per month, with additional allowances for Super Specialty posts.

Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor (Clinical & Non-Clinical): PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognized institutions.
- Assistant Professor (Super Specialty): PG Degree (DNB/DrNB/DM/MCh) in concerned super specialty from recognized institutions.
- Senior Residency of 1 year mandatory for Clinical & Non-Clinical posts (after PG completion). Not required for Super Specialty posts.
- AP Medical Council Registration Certificate is mandatory.
- Only Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh are eligible.
- Candidates migrated from Telangana within 3 years from 2nd June 2014 are also eligible.
Salary / Stipend
- Pay Scale: ₹68,900 – 2,05,500 per month as per 7th UGC Pay scales.
- Super Specialty posts: Additional allowance of ₹30,000/- per month.

Age Limit & Relaxation
- Minimum Age: 18 years, Maximum Age: 42 years.
- SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years relaxation.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years + length of service in Armed Forces.

Selection Process
- Selection based on merit and Rule of Reservation.
- Total Marks: 100
- Marks for Qualifying Examination: 75
- Weightage for Years After PG/Super Specialty: 10 Marks
- Central Institution Weightage: 5 Marks for candidates from central institutions.
- Contract/Service Weightage: Up to 5 marks for COVID-19, 2.5 marks for Tribal, 2 marks for Rural, 1 mark for Urban per six months.
