IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI 2026 is one of the most prestigious and large-scale banking recruitment processes in India. The online examination will be conducted in two tiers — Preliminary and Main. Candidates who qualify the Preliminary exam will be called for the Main exam, and those who clear the Main exam will be called for a Personality Test followed by a Common Interview conducted by the Participating Banks. IBPS PO 2026 Selection Process – Prelims, Mains, Personality Test, Interview and Allotment

  • Stage 1 – Online Preliminary Examination (August 2026): 100-mark objective test in 60 minutes. Qualifying stage only — marks not counted in final merit.
  • Stage 2 – Online Main Examination (October 2026): Objective and Descriptive test of 225 marks in 190 minutes. This is the merit-determining stage.
  • Stage 3 – Personality Test (November 2026): A self-report-based test placed before the interview panel. Non-qualifying in nature but mandatory to appear for the interview.
