The post of Technician (Carpenter/Fitter) carries a consolidated remuneration of ₹26,000/- per month. Both engagements are purely contractual and do not carry any other government allowances apart from the fixed consolidated remuneration mentioned in the notification.
For the post of Senior Technician (SMP) – Carpentry, candidates should not be more than 65 years of age as on 30 June 2026. For the post of Technician (Carpenter/Fitter), candidates should not be more than 35 years of age as on 10 July 2026. Candidates must ensure their age fits within the prescribed limit as on the respective cut-off dates of their walk-in drive.
The engagement for Senior Technician (SMP) – Carpentry will be on a co-terminus basis with the respective project, subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent. The engagement for Technician (Carpenter/Fitter) will be initially for a period of one year, which may be extended for another one year after periodic review of the project requirement and satisfactory performance of the technician.
Candidates must carry original Proof of Date of Birth, certificates and mark sheets of all educational qualifications and experience, and Identity Proof issued by a Competent Authority of Central/State Government, along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Senior Technician (Carpentry) candidates must additionally carry their PPO copy. Technician (Carpenter/Fitter) candidates must also carry Pen, Pencil, and Eraser for the Written Test, and no travelling charges shall be admissible for appearing in the test.
