Essential Qualification

• MBBS Degree from a recognized Medical Institution or University.
• Postgraduate Qualification in Ophthalmology:
  • Master of Surgery (M.S.) in Ophthalmology, OR
  • Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology, OR
  • Diploma in Ophthalmology

Desirable Qualification

Although not mandatory, candidates having the following additional skills and experience
will be given preference during selection:

• Competency in Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS) / Phacoemulsification
• Training or experience in sub-specialities such as Cornea, Glaucoma or Medical Retina
• Exposure to Community Ophthalmology
• Experience in conducting community eye screening programmes and eye health education

Age Limit

Salary Structure
