Eligibility Criteria
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Master of Home Trade Ship granted by Government of India or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience as Master of Home Trade Ship.
- Medical fitness certificate required for candidates above 55 years.
- Police verification certificate from local Police Station is required.
Salary / Remuneration
Consolidated ₹2,50,000/- per month for the contract period. No other allowances extra. Medical facilities with insurance as per board provisions.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on documents and eligibility.
- Document verification between 26-11-2025 and 06-12-2025.
- Medical fitness and police verification required for final selection.
- Final selection subject to satisfaction of board and completion of formalities.

Contract & Important Instructions
- Posts are contract based for 2 years; no claim for permanent appointment.
- Working hours may include day/night shifts as per port operations; selected candidates may be posted to any port in A&N Islands.
- Contract can be terminated by either side with three months’ notice or three months’ emoluments, or without notice for unsatisfactory performance.
- Leave entitlement: 2 days per month. Medical facilities & insurance provided as per board provisions.
