Educational Qualification
- Project Research Scientist – I (Medical): BDS + MDS (Public Health Dentistry) OR MDS with public health research experience OR MPH, Registered with DCI.
- Project Research Scientist – I (Non Medical): First-class Post Graduate Degree in Physiology, Public Health, or Psychology.
- Project Technical Support – III: Graduate in social/life sciences with 3 years experience or Post Graduate in social/life sciences.
- Desirable: Experience in research projects, publication record, software proficiency, qualitative or quantitative research skills, willingness to travel, regional language proficiency.
Salary Structure
- Project Research Scientist – I (Medical): ₹67,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Research Scientist – I (Non Medical): ₹56,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Technical Support – III: ₹28,000 + 20% HRA

Selection Process
Shortlisting will be done based on academic records, relevant research experience, and desirable criteria. Interviews or written tests may be conducted as per project requirements. Weightage will be given for prior experience in research projects.
General Instructions
- Engagement is initially for 11 months or less based on project tenure.
- Performance will be monitored and unsatisfactory performance may lead to termination.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interviews; candidates must arrange travel/accommodation themselves.
- Posting will be at project sites, with possible transfers as per research requirements.
- Project term does not confer any right for regular appointment in AIIMS/ICMR or government organizations.
- AIIMS Guwahati reserves the right to cancel/modify the recruitment process at any stage.
- Selected candidates must join within 7 days of result declaration.
