Eligibility Criteria
- Retired or resigned persons from Andhra Pradesh State Judicial Service.
- Persons from Andhra Pradesh Judicial Ministerial Subordinate Service not below Superintendent rank with Law Degree.
- Section Officer or above from Andhra Pradesh High Court Service with Law Degree.
- Advocates with minimum 5 years of practice who are not currently on Bar Council rolls.
- Retired Gazetted Officers possessing Law Degree or having passed Criminal Judicial Tests with magisterial experience of at least 3 years.
Salary / Remuneration
- ₹45,000 per month as honorarium.
- ₹5,000 per month towards conveyance allowance.
Age Limit (as on date of notification)
- Minimum Age: 45 Years
- Maximum Age: 65 Years
- Retired persons must have at least 1½ years left to attain 65 years.

Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications by Principal District Judge.
- Eligible applications forwarded to High Court.
- Written Test and/or Interview conducted by Committee of Judges.
- Final appointment as per Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
General Instructions
- Appointment is district-specific within Andhra Pradesh.
- Court work shall be from Monday to Friday between 07:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
- Services may be terminated for misconduct or absence without permission.
- Powers shall stand withdrawn on attaining 65 years of age.
