Eligibility Criteria
- Valid Driving Licence for Motor Car
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanics
- Experience driving Motor Car for at least 3 years
- Pass in Matriculation or equivalent
- Desirable: 3 years service as Home Guard/Civil Volunteers
Selection Process
- Preliminary objective-type written test (General Math, GK, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Driving Symbols, RTA Rules; 100 marks, negative marking 1/3)
- Skill (Driving) Test for qualifying candidates
- Final merit: 40% weightage for written, 60% for skill test
- Place of Examination: Chandigarh
