DRDO SSPL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), under Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO),
has released an official notification for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria
- ITI Apprentice: ITI (First Division) in Fitter, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, Machinist with 10th in First Division.
- Diploma Apprentice: Diploma (First Division) in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science.
- Graduate Apprentice: Graduation (First Division) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, B.A, B.Com or B.E/B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines.
- Only candidates passed during 2021 to 2025 are eligible.
- Diploma & Graduate candidates must be registered on NATS Portal.
- ITI candidates must be registered on Apprenticeship India Portal.
Salary / Stipend
- ITI Apprentice: Stipend as per rules.
- Diploma Apprentice: Stipend as per rules.
- Graduate Apprentice: Stipend as per rules.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on Written Test / Interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further process.
- Document verification will be conducted before execution of apprenticeship contract.

- Fill and submit the online application form using the official Google Form link.
- Submit the application within 15 days from publication of notification.
