Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
- Essential Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech in Aerospace/ Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Control system or Equivalent AND 3 years experience in R&D in industrial/academic/science organizations
- OR M.E / M.Tech / Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology AND 2 years R&D experience
- OR Doctoral degree (Ph.D / M.Phil) in Science / Engineering / Technology AND 2 years R&D experience
- Experience: R&D experience in industrial or academic institutions or science & technology organizations
Salary / Stipend
- Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 21 January 2026)
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, 3 years for OBC candidates

Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on written exam, percentage, higher qualification or experience
- Interviews conducted online
- Performance review at regular intervals (3/6 months)
- Waiting panel valid for 1 year
General Instructions
- All positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project
- Medical facilities limited to self
- Reservation as per rules
- Applicants previously engaged in CSIR-CSIO projects for 5+ years not eligible
- Selected candidates must join within 15 days of offer
- Security deposit of 15 days’ stipend required at joining
- CSIR-CSIO reserves the right to cancel/withdraw recruitment or not fill a position
- No TA/DA for interviews
- Terms governed by CSIR project guidelines
